In year 2003, I had a chance to pursue a Master of Science degree in Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST) under the supervision of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, Cambridge, USA) with a scholarship from Motorola Inc..  I had written my research interest in my home page, https://www.angelfire.com/jazz/huishin/research.htm.  I wanted to make cellular or telecommunication and wireless service as a daily need with the most affordable rate daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.  I had written the following to enhance my determination to work on a better usage dimension of mobile phone service with data plan and we can known this data plan as WIFI service.

"1.  The cheapest and effective way for human to communicate and obtain the latest information from any part of the world.  And, at the same time, mobile operators, WLAN service providers and those pioneers who are involved in telecommunication industry will continue to flourish and sustain."

     "Action:  I am working on some policies for Cellular-WLAN Integration as my master thesis."

I had stated why I wanted to grab this opportunity and it was under a BLUE OCEAN STRATEGY.  It mean no one or not many are actually working on this research interest.  I found my research interest and I defined my research interest after carefully made a conclusion after a long list of reading materials which I had read.

Next, HOW I grab this opportunity for a fortune of 38 trillion USD of accumulated wealth within 2 decade.  I worked on a research in a reputable university.  Then, I worked on the policies of Cellular-WLAN Integration and published it as my master thesis.  Right after I submitted and defenced my thesis, the Telecommunication International Authority managed to broadcast my research output into a product and my thesis, i.e. my Intellectual Property (IP) output, a patent basically gained the attention of all countries in the world, i.e. 195 countries sell my product with the remuneration to compensate my Intellectual Property (IP) right.
